Killing MeeGo

I consider MeeGo is the best mobile platform so far in usability and multi-processing

The decision of killing MeeGo raise many questions here
- why not keep going with MeeGo in same time with using WP7 platform? as this is very healthy for both Nokia, MeeGo and even WP7 as compition make things go faster with good results
- having two strong platforms will raise Nokia market share exponentialy
- killing MeeGo only useful for Microsoft, Google, iPhone as this will help them getting the whole cake
- if it's about operation cost, Nokia already paid alot in aquiring QT and investing in MeeGo
- Even if Nokia and Microsoft will be one company MeeGo existance will be more useful

If Nokia thinks that customers doesn't care about killing MeeGo you are wrong as now one of major points user thinks about when buying a high end smart mobile phone is OS updates and new OS versions (thanks to Apple, Google and recently Symbian^3)

Please let us know now why this decision is taken? May be it was Intel decision but I think no

Here is a sample story of what MeeGo did with my mind

After using MeeGo for one week I am unable to use any other phone anymore even the iPhone all seems crap.
Being able to close or pause any application very smoothly without the need to move your hands is the big thing here as this is very natural.

By the way I have to return my N9 after one week and get my money back because of the screen issue mentioned here (I am sure this is a software issue but I am not sure if this will be fixed in next update of not) keeping in mind that I know Nokia is killing MeeGo and trying to sheet some users to buy N9 same way happend before in N97

I think people getting crazy about this decision of killing MeeGo http://www.engadget.com/2011/06/22/e...ot-be-serious/
